Stay away!!! This place is a scam but it is somehow legal. I was on a road trip and needed gas. Gas buddy said it was only $4.69 a gallon. When I got there I noticed the sign that displayed prices was covered by a sign that said “open 24 hours”. I didn’t think much about it because I just figured ARCO is usually cheap so it couldn’t be any higher then the Cheveron down the street. Wrong! After I filled up and saw the receipt I noticed they charged me $6.69 a gallon! Significantly higher than anywhere in Oregon ever! When he gave me my receipt he told me he “threw in” a free car wash. I didn’t need a car wash! I can just assume they “throw in” the car wash to make people a little less upset. Absolutely insane! I easily paid $30 more than I would pay anywhere else! I was very upset and the guy working there said that according to Oregon law, gas stations are not required to display the prices on the board, but they are required to display them on the little displays where you pump the gas. Well, guess what, in Oregon you don’t pump your own gas so you don’t even see it! The guy working said that it was my fault because I should have asked him for the price and that they weren’t breaking any laws. He even said that they were on the news… not sure why he was proud of that! When I asked for the manager he said he was the manager and that once he charged the card there was nothing he could do! I wondered how they get away with this but it looks like they’ve been doing this for several years. Please do yourself a favor and stay away!

Never buy gas here. They do not display prices to purposely hide how badly they price gouge. This is nothing new with this store but they have taken it to a new level in the last 6 months. $6.80 for a gallon of regular is beyond outrageous!

Over charged for gas, prices weren't displayed. $1.40 more than across the street. Don't go there for gas.

Not only are they price gouging, but they’re being shady about it too by having their prices covered up so you don’t know until it’s too late. Run away from this gas station!

BEWARE!! it is getting worse. we got ripped off paying $4.39/gallon. charge was $92.00 for 20 gallons regular unleaded. I am contacting the BBB and reporting price gouging. sign is covered up and you don't expect it until it is too late. DO NOT GET GAS THERE. happened on 3/6/21
Sorry it took so long, to reply. They are rip offs. I've put a call into that Kyle Obishi consumer guy from tv. Haven't heard back. It's the old bait and switch rip off!!! Arco is known to have the lowest gas price All except for this guy. I paid $66.00 going there thinking I was going to get usual arco prices. I'm going to do something about (not violence). Join me.
