Home of the Willamette Valley Soaring Club - a large, well established club that has CFI-Gs as well as commercial pilots providing instruction and rides. The club currently owns and maintains several sailplanes and two tow planes. Some members have private sailplanes. The field operates several days per week. See their web page for details.

My dad, a 91 y/o dementia patient has always wanted to take a ride on one of your gliders, and I would like to help him get a chance to do this. But would his age be a problem? I was hoping to get them over there this afternoon. Thank you

We are open Wednesdays, Friday's, Saturdays and Sundays. We could help him get in and out of the glider.

I have two little boys ages 8 and 6. I know that they would have to fly in separate gliders. Are they old enough to have this experience and what are the current charges. (I flew years ago!)

The minimum weight is 85 lbs. And most of the time we suggest that the youth be at least 12-13 so the can see well outside of the glider. Current charge is $140.
