I have had surgery more times than I can count in my lifetime. But the two procedures I had at this facility were by the worsts and most traumatizing. The nurses and staff refused to treat my pain. They treated me like an addict who was simply there to score drugs fresh out of the Operation Room. I was bleeding and and in so much pain I couldn’t tell where from . I couldn’t cough the nurses as well as charge nurse refused to help me and acted disgusted to touch me. One literally threw gauze at me to clean myself up fresh out of the operating room . She forced me out of the hospital before I was ready still in excruciating pain and bleeding and wheeled me to the car. The HonorHealth Administration did nothing about it and refused to take my calls. I had nightmares for three weeks over the experiences at this surgery center. They have a distinct bias against women of color and a complete disregard for their comfort or care!! Women of color are treated like addicts off the streets here as opposed to human beings fresh out of surgery suffering and in pain.

Arrived with my fiance @7:40a.m. She was taken to prep for surgery. I recieved no update no info until 1:30 p.m. No one came out allowing me to see hert before she went in for surgery. No one told me that the surgery was delayed until 10:00 a.m. when I asked what was happening all they said wad that a doctor will come out to let me know. Instead I get a phone call stating she'll be ready after 2 p.m. when you bring your loved one in for eye surgery you expect better communication for the ones worrying in the waiting room.

My wife had surgery with Dr. Ley and spent 9 days in the surgical center. The staff have been absolutely amazing! The nurses are always ready to help and always seem to really love their jobs. They are patient and understanding and willing to answer even the most trivial questions. Even the housekeeping staff were outstanding. They were polite and made sure the room and linens were cleaned daily. I cannot rave about our experience enough. I would absolutely recommend Greenbaum again and again!
