Evo Italian is a locally owned restaurant with an amazing menu and friendly staff in Old Town Scottsdale. They use local, seasonal ingredients to prepare American dishes as well as classic Italian food. Our party enjoyed the shrimp and brie al Forno, pizzas, and various pasta dishes. The food was authentic and rich with Italian flavors. Freshly baked bread, handmade pasta, and wine were on point. The chef was very accommodating and prepared spicy dishes per our request. Great outdoor and indoor seating. Check out the pictures associated with this review and follow on Insta @ifooditie

Very cool place. It was 1 AM in the morning and it was open in old town! Never been there. Had a couple of delicious pizzas for our group. Will go there again. Highly recommend!

The food was decent and the wine was good, but you could tell the staff did not want to be there. The hostess was not welcoming and made us feel rushed as soon as we arrived. They told us they had another reservation in 2 1/2 hours which seemed like a long time, so we were confused as to why they were making us worried. Little did we know it would take 30 minutes before the waiter even came to ask our order once the whole party was there. I don’t blame the staff for this at all. It seems like management isn’t motivating the team to want to be there and help customers. I would never want to work here.

In a list of pros and cons the only con this place has is that so many people know about it. The owner is awesome, down to earth and cares about the food and the vibe even when it's popularity could succumb to that trendy oblivion that too many places in Old Town fall victim to- yeah, it's popular, yeah it has a great following, but I assure you, the food and drinks far out weigh the often culinary death that is the Scottsdale hipster scene- it's a place where fun and decadence collides and how they maintain the caliber of their dishes, even serving as late night as they do- never slips, it's always on point. You will have fun here, you will enjoy whatever you order.

Same as any other restaurant. Wear a mask until you are seated. Not sure about the bar seats being spaced out because I always sit at the tables. They have outside seating as well. Servers wear mask, as well as cooks.
