I’ve been coming here for almost 20 years and I love it now just as much as I did then! As of July 2022, MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A RESERVATION. I know it doesn’t say anywhere that a reservation is required, but this really makes it easier on them. This is one of my FAVORITE restaurants in Portland and I am so happy they survived the pandemic!

Delicious vegetarian sampler our whole family enjoyed. Woman serving was very accommodating despite it being a busy night. Give them a shot!

Great flavors. Portions could have been a bit bigger for the money. Side plates would have been nice to have, and spoons, as it was hard to eat at times, and food got all over my clothes. Extra napkins would have been nice as well.

Very delicious food! We didn’t realize they needed a reservation to eat but they sat us anyway. Great portions and amazing flavors! Their house made drinks are really delicious too.

Yes plenty of options more than 20 menu selections and several of them are Halal. I know the owner indirectly but in a social situation not because I have visited the restaurant, but as I know him personally and I will be the first to say that you should try their Injara as the Teff is great and so is the toppings that come with it.
