Sad to see dee go into retirement, but wish her all the best. Wo derful woman, always gets the job done, right and efficiently.

Lack of staffing caused quite a wait. Available staff was helpful and friendly.

The nicest women helped me out today, patient and very helpful. Best experience ever, for what is usually a horrible task. The wait wasn't bad either

Don't get Patti, not very nice and seemed annoyed with helping me. And she was having loud conversations with coworkers. I thought that was kind of rude. Just say Next to this one. Do not recommend at all. The other employees seemed pleasant though.

I just renewed and got a new photo license. Cost $30.
Yes, you ALWAYS have to pay the excise tax in the town you reside in before you can get anything registered.
The last time I was there, they couldn't have been more helpful or professional so I am sure they can take care of that for you however if the error was yours they may charge you $ 5 for a duplicate license.
Look on their website, it may be located there.
5.00 if regular..30.00 if a REAL ID for flying
With the Covid situation, upon arrival they have you stand outside until they bring you into the building. So instead of waiting in the lobby, you wait outside. I don't see any reason to call ahead
I think so
As long as it isn't a commercial license then you should be able to. They'll just use your picture from the last one and issue it
I had to keep trying....it took a while.... if you go there the door is locked but, if you continue to not get through, I'd go knock on the door to see if they can schedule you... dont know how they feel about that but may be worth a try... is this the number you are calling: 207-596-2255.... again it took me a while to get through.... hope this helps...
Open with appointment
The eye test is waived. You can renew online.
An ID card for a car is typically obtained through your insurance company or insurance agent. For a Maine ID card (for yourself) I believe you will need proof of resedincy, birth certificate, and perhaps 1 or 2 other documents. Very Similar to getting a licence I believe. Registration has different stipulations, topically documents like proof of insurance, title and/or bill of sale for fire time registering. For renewal it is usually proof of insurance and the previous registration and current milage.
I would call them
Go to the DMV. You may have to fill out paperwork and your info will also need to be updated to the Sectary of State.
No. It is not required, however if there is still time before the registration runs out you can get a credit for the plates.
Yes 1 or 2 yrs
You will need to go to the BMV and will want to bring your identification, and paperwork with you. But you have already passed the tests so as long as it isn't expired then you can ask for a replacement, I think it is around $5-$10
If you are worried about the weather it is best to call them to reschedule. Further information should be on the letter you received regarding the driving test.
I believe it is $30.
No, just patience.
You may need birth certificate....if real ID 2 things with name and current physical address....butnyou should be all set to renew
5 dollars for duplicate registration
