Another good rest area to get out and stretch, or stop for lunch. Pretty scenic, as well. Plenty of parking, even for the RV. Did not use the facilities but did take a nice walk around. They also have vending machines in case you need a snack.

Beautiful Rest Area - the Bathrooms are pretty clean - nice Memorial for Officer Merrill.

Scenic location. Restrooms fine. Unusual double picnic shelter, nice cast concrete tables. Smaller parking lot than we’re used to. Outside information board hard to decipher, has suffered with weather exposure. It appeared to offer historical information on the area.

Another of Texas's lovely rest stops, this one also has the best views we saw. Spent the night, felt safe, slept well. There's highway noise, of course, but we don't let that bother us.
