I inherited an antique sewing machine and couldn't get the thread tension right, despite consulting You Tube and the manual. We dropped in to Whitlocks and Maria immediately responded, "Let's set it up and see what is going on". She quickly spotted the problem (my incompetence) and she kindly provided advice and sent us on our way. Part of our problem was low quality thread. Stitches were perfect when we left the shop. I was expecting to have to leave the machine and pay for a service call. Instead, I have the machine at home and can continue my project. This was another good experience with this business and knowledgeable staff. Wonderful for people like me who have limited experience.

Visited today in hopes of finding information on an old school vacuum. Was happy to find out that they refurbish and sell them. Staff was friendly and quite informative, answering all my questions and then some. I will be picking up my refurbished vacuum in a few days.

I went in because I was having a little trouble with stitches skipping on some fabrics. Yvonne immediately nodded and told me about using different needles. She showed me the needles, explained how they could help, rang me up, sent me on my way. She was completely CORRECT. I haven't skipped a stitch since! I totally recommend Whitlocks, and ALL their employees. THANK YOU YVONNE

I needed to buy a new sewing machine, and tested machines at Whitlock's to help me decide. Maria was so patient and knowledgeable! I tried several, then went home to think it over. When I returned, she greeted me like a friend, and got my machine ordered right away. I'm head over heels in love with my new Juki. When I had some trouble with fitting a needle for sewing denim, she and another staff member helped me troubleshoot, and sent me home with just what I needed. I could have ordered a machine online, but the experience and support of the staff here helped me get exactly what I wanted, and feel comfortable with such a large purchase. Salem is fortunate to have this great business.

Hi Lynn, Chas said that should go to a Bernina dealer. Stretch and Sew in Keizer would be the closest store. Sorry we couldn't help this time. Thank you for asking.
Yes we do
Calling them would be the best way to get help with your quilting machine.I go there for parts for my vacuum primarily. The customer service has always been excellent & knowledgeable. I hope this helps you.
Yes! Whitlock's services older sewing machines. You mentioned repairs - depending if the parts needed are still available. You can always check your sewing machine in and have a free estimate.
Yes, I believe in a couple of weeks. Call them.
I believe Chas can fix most anything on any machine. Give them a call.
When you put them back up start sewing and they will come up - or turn your hand wheel towards you until you see them pop up.
