Nice atmosphere. The staff was lovely, helpful, accommodating, attentive, and polite. The food selection is just right. The portions were very generous. After a week's vacation in Maine we finally were pleasantly stuffed after a reeeally delicious dinner! Kudos to the chef!👏 My husband also enjoyed the local Allagash beer. If we weren't so full we would have definitely ordered dessert too. Best meal we fully savored.Thank you so much!😋

I'm giving them a bit of a bump here for ownership/LGBTQ+-friendliness in this small town. The food itself was fairly average, some was good, some wasn't as good. Service (I think one of the owners) was great. This is a quiet cafe in a small town that is exactly what you might expect, and might be exactly what you want at times.

Fantastic spot that combines a great atmosphere, a top-notch menu, and well executed food. Had crab-topped haddock with scallops and a Philly cheese steak (which they (all of Maine?) call a "steak bomb"). Fries were hand-cut with skin on and perfectly cooked. Fish was tender and flaky. It was an A+. Highly recommended.

Tables are spaced apart, masks are required to enter, anytime you get up from your table and encouraged to wear them when a server is at your table. We also take the name and phone number of every table for contact tracing. All staff wear masks, all surfaces are wiped down very frequently
Not the last time I was in. Think more high-quality diner/family restaurant. Rock City Cafe in Rockland makes awesome Espresso, though! 4 miles north on Rt 1.
