Somehow Larry manifested the first sub 80, overcast, drizzling day we've had in weeks right in the middle of an east-coast heat wave (it was 100+ two days ago for reference) for the plants to arrive for planting day. Came a day early (last night). I ordered 10 each of 3 varieties of strawberry plant, got 11, 12, and 14 respectively. Most of the crowns had a few leaves on them, even though I'm an idiot for ordering in July, optimistic I might even get a few berries this year. Then also 3 really nice looking larger berry plants (2 raspberry and 1 blackberry). They've already perked up even more after being up-potted to 5 gallon containers filled with FoxFarm and perlite. High quality stuff and much larger selection than we have locally (including some awesome PNW strawberry varieties). I am so excited to start the berry portion of my garden with these plants.

I ordered a couple elderberry bushes in Ebay and received them quickly and they look great. I have much better luck planting trees in December and January and many online nurseries will not ship until it is already hot here. I will be ordering more from Scenic Hill.

Great place with a huge selection, there is no store front you have to call when you arrive, but he also said the hours on Google are not totally correct as they start at 7 usually. Great prices and friendly people, I will certainly be back.

I have bought three varieties of raspberry plants in the past 6 weeks and they have all arrived in perfect condition and are thriving. Shipment was fast and all the plants were tenderly wrapped and kept moist on the way here to hot, sunny Florida. Highly recommend this nursery! I have ordered from the big catalog nurseries and all my plants from those orders were dead or dying on arrival. Thank you for the great selection and care you take in shipping.
