I got a gluten free blueberry pie. The crust was great, but blueberries had no flavor and was very very watery. Definitely wasn't worth the two hours before I could eat it.

Had a problem with delivery (Not Maine Pie fault) and Maine Pie bailed me out quickly! Now my Daughter that is Celiac and cannot eat Gluten gets to share in the Pies also! Great customer service and I highly recommend just for that BUT will update this review for the taste in a couple days after I get to actually taste them.

We had 3 pies, strawberry rhubarb, apple and a chocolate tart pie. All were delicious. My husband is Celiac. So glad we found this place. Overnight delivery is great still frozen when they arrived. Just need to bake.

Questions & Answers

Before baking my pie, do they need to be defrosted?

Our pies, tarts, shells, and "minis" go right from the freezer to the oven – no need to defrost before baking! (Except our Pecan Pie, which only needs to be brought to room temperature – no baking necessary for the Pecan Pie.)

I purchased one of your Gluten Free Frozen Blueberry Pies and the instructions say to start baking it on the bottom shelf in the oven. My oven does not have a bottom heating element. Do I still start it on a bottom shelf? thank you.

Good question! In that case, just don't place it at the very top. Then bake the pie according to the temperature and time instructions on the packaging. Enjoy!
