My friend and I were driving through ABQ and are glad we found this restaurant to stop and get lunch. The atmosphere is very homy and they also have a nice little outside area which is where we sat. I ordered the huevos rancheros and my friend the plate with ribs. Both were delicious and very reasonably priced. The ranchero sauce was tasty, and the hash browns were a nice addition to an otherwise Mexican breakfast dish. They also served it with tortillas on the side, so that was nice. Our waitress was very attentive to us and made sure all was good (she also brought out a spicier sauce upon request). The parking lot is not super well kept and somewhat small, but it seems enough for the amount of people the restaurant can hold anyway. Overall definitely recommend this place for some good Mexican food! P.S. sorry for the pictures with the half-eaten dishes - we were very hungry and almost forgot to take pictures for the review!

The carnitas tacos were very meaty and delicious with the extra flavor of green chili as mandated by New Mexico law. The quesadilla frita came with your choice of meat, so I doubled down on carnitas and was not disappointed.

The atmosphere was great!!! The food what can i say! I had the Birria Tacos WOW! By far the best I have ever had. HIGHLY recommended

Such a little gem. We’ve been twice so far and loved everything we’ve tried. The birria tacos are super crisp, flavorful, and cheesy. The carnitas was cooked to perfection and the sides compliment it very well. The shrimp cocktail has plenty of shrimp and is also quite delicious. The pellizcada with carnitas was my absolute favorite though. Keep in mind this is a small local establishment with a small staff. You might have to wait more than usual but, it’s definitely worth it.
