New stationary and recumbent bikes! New elliptical machines! Mostly clean. Big space, easy to socially distance early in the morning. Most people wipe down equipment after use. Some machines definitely need to be re-upholstered but still usable.

If you dare go to this dump, do not give them your credit or debit card information. They charged my card for 15 months after I canceled my membership, effectively stealing about $375. My bank and I are currently fighting with them to get my money back, and it's not going well. If anyone from World Gym is reading this, if you charge my card again my next call is to the police.

Been coming to World Gym about 3 months now. Great equipment, lots of space, friendly staff, good hours, and the vibe feels like a do-work-space but also welcoming. My only complaint is the steam sauna that seems permanently out of service, and the dry sauna that just doesn't get that hot. These were both determining factors for me signing on, and it's super disappointing. I think these would set World Gym a step above other options in Portland.

This place has a great gym and there is a great group of people that go there, the staff are pretty friendly as well. However, on numerous occasions this place has wrongfully taken, or attempted to wrongfully take my money. I canceled my membership because my wallet was stolen from THEIR locker room, and the staff made no efforts to help me track it down. I canceled all of my cards and the card I signed up with was one of them. However, despite me cancelling my membership, I was charged at the beginning of next month anyway. I was informed that even though I had canceled at the beginning of January, I still had to pay for the following month of February. I also paid late fees because my stolen card was declined. A few months later I get another call from their collection agency, Twin Oak. They tell me that I now owe World Gym $40 more dollars, on top of the $31 that I already paid for a month in which I never once stepped foot in the gym. This $40 charge was a "maintenance fee" charged every February to annual members... mind you, I had a one month membership from December 10 or so until January 3, at which point I cancelled my membership. So now I was being charged for an annual maintenance fee for a membership to a gym that I had cancelled not even a month after signing up, and after all was said and done I had paid for 3 months of membership, plus late charges for the last month, and a $40 dollar "maintenance charge" for annual members, just to spend 3 weeks at a gym in December, only to have my wallet stolen out of their locker room. Moral of the story, great gym, but a great place to have money stolen from you (in various ways, they're greasy.)

I'm having the same problem. Did you find a solution?
I doubt it, in my opinion they are a sinking ship. The ripped up all the contract price contract and put everyone on a higher price. No warning, no asking, it was a desperate move . Usually means there are going under
Please stop by the desk and we can get that for you!
$10 for a day or $25 for a week!
