Greatest public library that is not a REAL public library! It's a private company paid by the city to save money, but it makes things better because they really care, unlike most city employees every were.... it's like a private country club that makes it's own rules, example is the mask mandate 🤔 Jetport NO mask vs Library YES 🤪

This is such a beautiful library. There is so much and such varied spaces. It is immediately evident that it is a safe and welcoming space for all. The artwork all over the building is something special to behold.

So glad I had opportunity to visit the Portland Public Library today. First of all, it was a beautiful day in Maine... 70's, sunny and breezy! The facility has always intrigued me; I was impressed when stepped inside. beautiful, spacious, handicap friendly. Staff were ALL very helpful and kind. Thanks for a great experience.
