It appears to be a huge hit with local people. The food was excellent, however, the portions were small for a diner. Its been my experience that diners tend to offer over the top (large) portions. The mashed potato portion was the size of an ice cream scoop. They were awesome in taste and I would have loved an "overflowing" portion! No complaints about the taste of the food, it was excellent! I gave them 4 stars because the food was expensive, especially for a diner (more priced for a higher quality restaurant) and the portions were small or more likely "what a portion size" should be under the food recommendations for healthy living.

We stopped in, for the 1st time, Monday, 6/6/22. Late lunch at 1:30pm. Greeted & Seated Immediately. Waited on promptly. Drinks served. Ordered 2 sandwich plates. Waited, maybe, 8 mins, at most, and we're served piping hot meals. The food was plentiful & absolutely delicious! 2 plates, beer, 3 coffees = $25. Terrific, Friendly staff! Great Stop.

The customer service was ok. They were polite but didn't really seem to have their head in the game. I needed something fast and requested a few different types of 'salad' sandwiches none of which they had. That is odd for a diner. What I find peculiar is that the waitress didn't offer any suggestions but instead pointed to the menu and said "That is all we have." After ordering two red hotdogs and a rootbeer float I was served an 8oz glass filled to the brim with soda and two large scoops of ice cream on top. While this may have looked "nice" it was not a realistic approach to serving a RB Float. Beside the incredibly small portion of soda I am perplexed as to how on earth I was supposed to consume it. While I was in a hurry, serving two hotdogs in less than four minutes tells me they were microwaved, which I abhor. The dining room was decorated for the holidays adding a cheerful ambience. It was clean and quiet. The restroom was also really clean. They no longer have Wi-Fi available to their customers. That is an incredible short-coming for a dine-in restaurant today. Tonight was an unusual experience for this location as I have dined there before. Same waitress, same indifferent attitude. But the portions are usually much more inline with the prices. To be fair, the weather is nasty and business was slow. Christmas is a week away, so maybe that had an impact. In the end I was dissatisfied enough to walk out with touching any of it.
