Very nice baking goods. Love their strudel and blueberry tarts.

Two stars only because their old market was cool. I've been a few times, not recently, but the last visit had such bad service we left without ordering. Sat down right before lunch started and we got no drink options, no menus to look over, just really treated like we were the problem (I get we couldn't order until the specified time...but I assumed the menus weren't secret that close to lunch time). That experience burned me so bad that I wouldn't go back without some level of expectation the staff has gotten friendlier.

I love love love this place right in downtown Belfast. The first time I went was for food, which was incredible, farm grown and oh so healthy. Then I learned that they sell the most beautiful flowers seasonally, i mean really special varieties put together so well. And then there's their fresh garden picked veggies, great place to shop. Lastly they have wonderful plants, shrubs and trees with a little story about each one. Like where it grows best, all of it's attributes, etc. They have a seating area outside but I live the big room in front with the brick wall and tall ceiling, a warm welcoming room. I just wish they were open later!

From a design and aesthetic experience alone I give Chase's Daily five stars. It's still one of the places I think about most from our fall 2019 trip to Maine. Belfast was just a charming town, and Chase's Daily seemed to be the lunchtime gathering spot for an interesting mix of folks who call it home–college-age young people, architects from down the street, older gentleman discussing the news of the day, artists, local farmers, etc. There was a farmers' market in the back that perfectly captured the color palette of early November in New England and art by local artist handing on the wall. I even found paperwhite bulbs there that I brought with me back home. The salad and pizza we ordered were incredible and made of much of the same produce for sale in the back of the shop. Not pictured are some pastries we ordered for dessert.

Yes we do ship our hot sauce. Place your order over the phone and we ship to your address.
There are usually paper menus by the cash register. There is also items listed on the board high on the wall behind the staff. Friday evening and Sunday morning have table service and the servers bring paper menus.
Try Trillium. They're great.
