Rented a boat for 8 hours and had to go back to the marina for gas and some refreshments. We left the marina expecting them to have filled the tank, but they didn't. So we barely made it back to the dock to get the take filled after boating 35minutes out. Great time but make sure you tell those kids to fill the take. They do not have leadership. So it's not their fault. It just takes 15minutes to get out or in the no wake area. So we had to spend 1hr and 5 minutes to resolve their mistake and the gas as well. Which they charge 8 dollars a gallon. Beside that we created memories we will never forget.

Love this Marina! The staff is always very helpful and my boat is tied up and secured here. They have great boats of different sizes to rent here too. Bring the family and have a great time on Detroit Lake where memories are made.

The place gives me some serious summer vibes. It's a nice view of the marina from the rental shop and a steep walk down to the lake. You can take the stairs, but if walking is difficult for you take the gravel way around - it's not too much longer. The staff was friendly and the rental was easy. There's plenty of lake to explore on whatever water craft you rent. Since we were on a paddle board and kayaks, we didn't go beyond the bridge (wind and currents make it difficult to go far once you enter the main body of the lake). They give you a map so you know where the good spots are. The lake itself was beautiful and framed by a steep inclines of forest.

Expensive rentals but worth the fun. I rented a jet ski and hit around 65 MPH. The no wake zone is pretty far but it's not too big of a deal. If you want you can rent a docking space for around 600 to 700 dollars a year depending on the square feet. They also book fast so keep that in mind.

I have seen a few on them. Calling them would be the best though, just in case the ones I saw were doing it without them knowing.
No but if you are the driver they will give you a temporary license since you need one to drive a boat in Oregon
No, they do not have houseboat rentals. You can go to their website http://detroitlakemarina.com/ and see all their rentals. They will be open for the 2021 season.
