I contacted them about a workers compensations case and was referred to an attorney who was not with the Barnes Firm. If this happens to you be mindful that you are not connected to an attorney which represents Employers. I am not saying this is what happened, but use your best judgement.

Thank you to the wonderful Team of Attorney Christian Oliver!! They helped me successfully regain control of my life after a major (no casualties) car accident and I am very grateful for their dedication to my case. Medical treatment and Mental Health treatment were top priority for myself and my family member. Given the nature that because of the COVID pandemic there were new procedures and processes to adjust to all over the World, because meeting ’face-to-face’ was impossible for a very long time, and it was very frustrating at times that things were going so slow, but every Team Member I spoke to was always reassuring me of the current status. The legal process was explained clearly and communication was consistent and genuine. The Team adapted to my preferred form of communication (text messaging) and I was able to get immediate if not timely responses. I believe they got immediate if not timely responses from me in return. I hope that I will not ever need to retain legal services through the Barnes Firm in the future but I know that if something should happen that they will be there to help. Special thanks to Ms. Estrada and the Buffalo Office.

Attorney Christian Oliver, personal injury attorney for the Barnes Firm worked extremely hard on our case. He was very dedicated, professional, loyal, efficient and relentless with attention to detail from start to finish. He fought very tirelessly all the way through and went above and beyond. Christian is a “top notch” lawyer, he is very knowledgeable, personal, and loyal to his clients. He was able to walk us through the whole process and was able to ultimately achieve a successful settlement from our insurance company. We are very grateful and appreciative and want to take this opportunity to express our gratitude and thank Christian for everything he did for us. We would highly recommend Attorney Christian Oliver and the Barnes Firm! With Gratitude, Lucy D & Michel L

If you think you might've suffered whiplash, it's critical to see a doctor right away and get it documented. In addition, it's probably a good idea to talk with an experienced personal injury lawyer. Will my insurance cover chiropractic treatment after a car accident?

Tacitus Kilgore | Aug 18, 2021
The Barnes Attorneys | Aug 18, 2021

If you have medical payments coverage, which is also known as med pay, then your insurance could help pay for your chiropractic treatments after an accident. You might have other options too, depending on your situation: if you're involved in a car accident that was "not" your fault and you've already opened an injury case, some chiropractors will agree to treat you on a lien basis. That basically means the chiropractor will get paid using the proceeds of your settlement. In any case, it's important to go over your options with an experienced car accident lawyer.

What type of doctor to see after car accident?

Tacitus Kilgore | Aug 18, 2021
The Barnes Attorneys | Aug 18, 2021

Most doctors can help diagnose and treat common injuries resulting from a car crash. You should typically go to a hospital ER or urgent care center immediately after a car accident. You could also get medical treatment through a chiropractor or your primary care doctor. What's important is that you put your health first and get your injuries documented as soon as possible. This documentation could then be used as evidence, and improve the value of any personal injury claim you file. In addition to seeing a doctor, an experienced personal injury lawyer can help discuss your options and maximize the compensation you're owed.

Can whiplash show up months later?

Tacitus Kilgore | Aug 18, 2021
The Barnes Attorneys | Aug 18, 2021

Whiplash injuries are often difficult because you may not experience any symptoms immediately following an accident. That's why it's extremely important that you see a health care professional immediately to be examined. A doctor can help diagnose, treat, and document any whiplash injuries you might've suffered. In many cases, if you don't get immediate medical treatment after an accident, the insurance companies and their lawyers will try to use that against you in an attempt to show that you're not really hurt. It's best to see a doctor right away and talk to an experienced lawyer who can help protect your rights.

Tacitus Kilgore | Aug 18, 2021
The Barnes Attorneys | Aug 18, 2021

If you were injured in an accident and you have an ongoing personal injury case, some physical therapists will treat you on a lien basis. Liens will provide you with the medical treatment you need right away, but the therapist won't get paid until your case is resolved. Their payment -- the lien -- will then be deducted from your overall recovery.
