The Aspen Moose property is fantastic! The location can't be beat - the lot is gorgeous, and definitely a get-away from the world. The cabin is comfortable, clean, and was perfect for our family reunion vacation. We got such a kick out of sitting at the window seat watching the deer We had a fantastic stay at the cabin, and we would stay again.

We will be in touch for another family vacation. Thanks again for the lovely accommodations. We will be in touch for another family vacation. We rented ATV’s, played on the water at Jordanelle, fished at Strawberry, built a Tee Pee with the grand boys in the back near the stream… Great- Val

Perfect. A very smooth vacation- we need to stay a week next time. Exceeded our expectations, the layout and the kid areas were just what we needed, loved the 'high-end rustic' feel.

Questions & Answers

Just wanting to know if at during the snow season the roads are plowed and safe. We are travelling from Australia (all we know is HOT HOT and HOT) and want to make sure it wont be a problem for us driving with a hire car.

Wow, what a fun trip this will be, the snow is GREAT this year mate! Yes, the roads are plowed however there is more to know; between October and April it can storm regularly, the roads to this cabin are usually cleared within a few hours after a storm. Since it's on the mountain and at about 2200m (7600ft) elevation you will need four wheel drive. Between December and March you need a real four wheel drive- the car hire company may try to give you an "all wheel drive" sedan car- NO! you need an SUV that can actually go in the snow. :)
