The Brea Police Department is a phenomenal public agency. Other police departments should be modeled after BPD. Every officer I've met has been nothing but kind and compassionate. Even when I get pulled over, I never feel unsafe or like the officer is targeting me. They respond to calls in a relatively fast manner and are very good with conflict resolution. Overall, a great agency and I'm glad to have them looking over Brea.

I found the Brea Police Dept. very helpful, congenial and dedicated individuals dealing with the public at the Civic Center. They have a great relationship with the Brea Library next door. The Civic Center is the location for the main office, there is a secondary office in Old Town Brea.

Some of the most rudest law enforcement workers I have ever met in my life!!! As a driver in the state of California, the only form of identification we are required to possess is our California drivers license. Under no circumstance should a police officer look at the ID, Birth Certificate, SSN card, and credit cards of a citizen and say that it is not them thus accusing them of stealing another persons’ identity without probable cause. I practically begged the police department to finger print me just to prove that I was who I said I was to have my vehicle released to me. Instead of coming to me politely, the officers told me, “your id does not look like you, you don’t look 5’4,”and that the signature I used when I was 17 years old is different than the one I use now, almost a decade later. After doing the fingerprints and proving that I, infact am myself, I received no apology from the accusing officers. Just disrespectful! Unless you’re going to fingerprint every single driver whose vehicle needs to be released, don’t be prejudiced and pick and choose who needs to go through this longer process. A hypothetical situation could have went as follows, officer: Ma’am, the signature you provided does not match the one on your id, we need to take measures to further verify your identity. Will you be willing to undergo the process of fingerprinting? Me: Yes. Fingerprinting is done, car is released, everyone is satisfied.

They have a hotline for Carbon Canyon. Call (714)990-7732 and listen to the recorded message.
Steve, call the police department and ask them if they are soliciting.
How about you stop posting BS on here
If you feel you would like to know more about the program, please call 714-990-7625
You don’t. It will go nowhere stop wasting your time
The only thing that can be done is to complain to the staff at the restaraunt and see what they can do. Nothing can be done from a legal perspective unless they are smoking inside the restaraunt or are asked to leave by the staff.
You need to hold on to your stuff better and be more responsible. What number are you going to call? You think theres a magical number that will have your keys ??
