What a wonderful Indian restaurant! Everyone at the restaurant was very kind and even assisted us with the nearby street parking. The lunch special was delicious and very filling- I suggest arriving for lunch early because they do run out of the special. I also enjoyed the mango lassi, although small in size, was very rich and delicious! Will definitely be returning!

Far and away the best restaurant in Pittsburgh and easily one of the best Indian restaurants I've been to in the US. It tastes like home cooked food the way my mother makes it, and every item on the menu is cooked perfectly. The restaurant has a lunch buffet that is one of the best both in terms of quality and in terms of bang for your buck. If you're craving good Indian food or just good food you must come to this restaurant. It's a bit out of the way and you'll have to find parking a little further away, but it's absolutely worth the effort. I've brought four other people here and they have all agreed this is one of the best restaurants around. I'm leaving Pittsburgh in August, and until then I'm going to eat here as much as I can.

We came here for lunch. We were impressed with the decorations. It's authentic Indian cuisine. A waiter was super friendly. We were impressed they have a kid menu. We ordered 3 different kind curries. Gongura curry, Curry, and Tikka Masala. We shared Samosa and Naan. For Gongura curry, if you love spicy, choose mild or above. My friend ordered Tikka Masala and choose less than mild spicy. It was perfect spicy scale. If you don't like spicy, don't choose mild. It was delicious. This kid ordered Chicken and Rice from the kid menu. She loved it. A waiter gave her a free kid size Lassi. She drank all of it. Overall, we loved it. We will return back.

Delicious food! Loved the special desserts. Our saag and curry tasted great too! We ordered takeout which was fast (less than 20 minutes) and everything was very warm. Next time, I will order the moderate spice level as mild did not have much spice especially for the saag. It tasted better than other Indian restaurants I’ve tried in Pittsburgh.

They have rotating buffet for lunch. The menu is typically not posted anywhere but you can call and find out if the dishes are what you would like. Items from the buffet are served at the table.
