Kinda a small place, half bar and half restaurant. A little dim, a little smokey from the bar. That said a fantastic, old school diner breakfast. The pancakes cover the plate and were only $2 each ($2.50 for some of the mix-ins - I went with pecans and there were some in every bite). Bacon is good and crispy, omlettes nice and fluffy with big hunks of Mancini's bread for toast The coffee is rocket fuel, but that's what you'd want for this type of meal. Between the prices and background music, it's everything you could want if you're hankering for some nostalgia. One of my favorite breakfast stops!

The people the atmosphere and the food are amazing. And they carry beer which is a hard find at bars these days. Highly recommend.

Great food and people, a smoking bar that doesn't smell, but the place doesn't look clean.

Utterly confounded how this place has such rave reviews. I love finding hidden gems and had this place recommended to me, even. It's easy enough to get to for me as I am local. There is a handwritten piece of paper taped up outside directing you to the non-smoking dining room which opens into a storage closet, not a dining room. So, I went through the other door, into the seediest, smokiest, most antiquated throwback of a dive bar ever to have crawled out of the muck and mire of a bygone era. There were 4 people at a wrap-around bar, and a bartender that walked away as soon as I stepped across the threshold. I waited a minute to even be acknowledged, but was not. I would have been more patient except that I couldn't handle the stale cigarette smoke and obvious aura of disdain for a new patron. I quickly left, chased by a cloud of smoke belched forth from the bowels of an aged and asthmatic dragon. It chased me all the way to the car. Perhaps there is an alternate reality where this place isn't an imminent Super-Fund site; where it has passed its health inspections and decided not to provide all patrons with free lung cancer, and that was the restaurant recommended to me. In any case, I cannot, in good conscience or faith, recommend this place to anyone and I don't foresee how I would ever consider revisiting this location except to watch the spectacle of it go up in greasy, nicotine-fueled flames to make room for a parking lot.
