Gold Star Chili in New Richmond, OH is a great place to grab a quick bite or a full meal. Gold Star is one of the Cincinnati area chili parlor chains. They offer Coneys, Gorditos, Chili 3, 4, and 5 ways, Salads, Burgers, “Deckers” sandwiches, Shakes, Fries, Side Dishes, and more. This location is very clean and the staff were friendly, offered suggestions, and provided quick service. I had a couple of Coneys. The hot dog buns could not have been any fresher or lighter. The dogs had a nice snap when I bit into them or cut them. The chili topping it was tasty and had that, to me, distinctly different Cincinnati flavor or two to it. A generous amount of cheese topped it all off. No onions on mine as ordered. While I was eating, I noticed the employees efficiently serving both take out and drive through orders. Again, I want to commend them on the cleanliness of the customer areas, the employee areas behind the counter, and even their parking lot! Conveniently located just off of Hwy. 52, this Gold Star Chili is easy to get to and has plenty of parking. Next time I’m visiting New Richmond, I’ll eat here again.
