I had an excellent experience at Monroe Avenue Dental. The staff were really gentle and helpful with all the things I needed, the place was clean and in order, and I was able to schedule an appointment with them in a fast and easy way. Everyone was attentive to detail and excellent in their service, and Dr Dinger gave me a clear explanation of everything and suggested the further steps to take. For all this, I would highly recommend people to come here.

my experience with Monroe Avenue Dental was amazing, the staffs were very kind. Dr. James Dinger was extremely helpful and easy to understand in explaining my teeth condition. Definitely recommend going to Monroe Avenue Dental if you have any problems with teeth.

Having not been to a dentist in YEARS, I finally went to a dentist last August that rushed me, didn't listen to me, and the staff were downright rude. I decided to try Monroe Ave Dental and my experience was amazing. The assistants are sweet and make the experience personal. Dr Dinger was thorough, took his time and listened to me as well as let me ask ant questions I needed. I needed some cavities filled and they got me in for that the next week. They make you feel comfortable, and safe, even if you have a huge fear of dentists (like myself.) I can honestly say I didn't feel fear for one second here, and I'm excited to say I'll be going to the dentist as needed now! Thanks you guys!

It is recommended that you have Bitewing X-rays taken yearly, and either a Full Mouth Series or Panoramic X-ray taken every 3-5 years. There are other situations that may require a yearly X-rays including a tooth that has received a root canal, or a dental implant. Dental X-rays show any current cavities and often future catch cavities and bone pathology before they become a larger problem.

When should I bring my child to the dentist?

Dylan Martinez | Aug 18, 2021

The American Association of Pediatric Dentistry recommends that children have their first dental visit before their first birthday, or within 6 months of their first tooth erupting. The first few visits will likely be very short – it will just be getting the kids used to an unfamiliar environment and seeing new faces. Likely we won’t be taking any X-rays or cleaning their teeth.
