AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL customer service. I've never had a business owner be so nasty and rude for a mistake they were responsible for. I brought in a bridesmaid dress for alterations to shorten the straps. The part they worked on turned out fine but I was missing the hook and eye off the back of the dress. I didn't think it was a big deal and politely pointed it out upon noticing. Theresa (the store owner) proceeded to tell me that there had never been a hook on the back of the dress, although I knew without a doubt that there had been. I told her there was definitely one when I brought it in. She then proceeded to tell me I was making it up and laughed in my face. She told me she would replace it for a charge, even though it had come off at the shop, while in her possession. It's frustrating to pay a business for a service, then get laughed at for pointing out a simple mistake. I understand things happen but this should've been handled much much better.

DO NOT GO TO THERESA'S ALTERATIONS FOR ZIPPER REPLACEMENTS. I picked my jackets up (pictures attached) to find that she ruined them. The seams were uneven and falling out. Very messy job overall. I requested my money back so that I could take these to be repaired elsewhere, and Theresa would only give me a 50% refund. Theresa, the owner, said that the job looked fine to her, and if I wanted more of a refund, I would have to come "another day when the manager? is here." She also threatened to rip out the zippers before I take it to a new tailor because they were hers. Horrible service and horrible work. The other tailors I have shown this to were stunned by the poor quality of work. They all have said this is completely unacceptable. Do not trust this place with your clothes.

The staff at Theresa's is incredible! They are so kind and do excellent work. I have gone to them for dress alterations many times, and the alterations always turns out better than I could hope for. Recently I needed a last minute alteration for a bridesmaid's dress. Even though they were very busy with other alterations, they let me bring the dress in last minute and were very helpful in the process.. I brought my dress to be altered in the morning, and I was able to get it back that same afternoon. The dress fit perfectly! I highly recommend going to Theresa's for alterations. They are lovely people who do an incredible job. I can't say enough good things about them.

DO NOT GO HERE!!! Please do not go here. I had several issues with Theresa and my wedding dress. She asked me to get material to make the straps and the corset string (mine was a used dress so it was missing) so I asked to take the dress with me to make sure it was the same color and she complained that I shouldn't need it (my wedding dress is champagne). This should have been the first hint. But I went and got fabric and brought it back. Three weeks later she calls and said shes going to start on the stress but didn't understand the fabric I bought. I explained the tule was for the straps and satin for the corset. She told me I didn't buy enough and told me to buy more! I refused and told her I shouldn't even been buying it in the first place, she should do that and I bought MORE than what she originally asked me to buy. She hung up and called back 5 minutes later and we argued about whether or not my dress had a corset SHOCKER! it DOES! She said since there was a zipper it had no corset (corset was UNDER THE ZIPPER INSIDE THE DRESS) Someone who alters dresses should know to undo the zipper. Then she called a week later saying it was completed. I went to pick it up and her assistant noticed the strap was jacked up and told Theresa it was wrong. Theresa refused and said it was because it was "bunched" but clearly it was different than the other strap. I finally paid and just took my dress because I was afraid she'd f-up my dress more if I asked her (rather, forced her, to fix it). I ended up having to go to a friend of a friends to have it fixed. DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!!!!!

Clothing alterations varies greatly from job to job, and pricing is based on what needs to be done. When we give you a price during the consultation, that is the price you would pay — no tricks or surprises.
