Great, extremely friendly, knowledgeable people! Fairly priced too, it seems. All my interactions with the staff have been very pleasant.

If you get a chance to go in, it's great. Just about everything for any process you can imagine under one roof. As a local, I used to love coming in to Freestyle on Saturdays, the only day I was able to with their hours. Now that they've decided to stay closed on Saturdays I'm forced to order product online. It's now actually cheaper to buy product from other retailers in NY state and have it shipped all the way to CA. Shame. I loved supporting them. Edit: I look forward to patronizing them again now that they're open the last Saturday of every month. It's not a perfect solution for us locals who work regular hours but I appreciate the gesture.

Needed a light meter and some high ISO black and white film. I called in advance and they were super helpful. Went in to the super safe store and picked up what I needed and left happy. Staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. I will definitely be back soon.

Freestyle knows what’s up in the film world! Filled with all your photo needs from film and paper to development equipment and backdrops. Plus their staff are highly knowledgeable and super down to help you out. We spoke with Josh about a Rollei color chem kit, and he offered some amazing advice about how to use the kit. The reason we came in was because the kit we purchased online didn’t come with the correct chemicals. Freestyle was super helpful in exchanging our product for the right one from the manufacturers and it made our whole experience feel like they really cared. My husband develops film for customers and he found out last minute that the kit wasn’t right. Freestyle came through! Thank you for all your help! Their store is fully stocked, plenty of free parking out front for customers and it’s a safe shopping experience during this pandemic.

Both color. And Black&white
Hi Jocelyn, David is correct. We are a drop off and pick up point for our partner Richard Photo Lab. Pricing ranges from $9-$14 for develop only depending on the type of film and generally tops out a $30-$36 if you want develop, print and scans. Prices are subject to change and special handling fees may be involved if the roll was shot through a toy type of camera. The process takes a few days as the lab is outside of town and there is travel time involved. Thank you for the inquiry.
Bert Hicks and Terell Black are absolutely right. We have a wide variety of black & white and color 35mm film for your analog camera. Come on by the store and we'd be happy to show you.
Hello Victor, Yes we carry Super 8mm film. From our Film category, select Movie Film and they will appear. The Pro8mm Super 8 Film Kits are a great deal as they include develop and process, scanning, encoding, internet upload and return of the film. Thank you for the inquiry!
Leica?
Hello Maria, Unfortunately we do not. That format is not as common as it used to be, but I see it can be found online through Amazon or Walmart. We do however have have many other types of film from 35mm to even Super 8mm and even 16mm. Have a great weekend!

Our Santa Fe Springs Will-Call counter also strictly follows all Covid-19 guidelines and is open for walk-in sales. Orders shipping from our Distribution Center are shipping as normal, M-F. We will continue to offer Curbside Pick-up and Contactless Film Processing for those who prefer it - visit www.freestylephoto.biz for more information. We appreciate your support!
Hi Andrew, Joshua is correct. We are partnered with Richard Photo Lab and send all processing to them. When you drop off your film you can choose between small, medium and large scans. The large scan will give you an approximate print size of 11x17 ish at 300dpi. Thank you for the inquiry and we look forward to assisting you.
Try pinterest.com or guides.library.ucla.edu
We don't buy any used equipment but you may want to try some other local photography stores, Craig's List or KEH.com. Good Luck!
I'm just a customer. You'll have to call them and check directly with one of their people.
They sell Holga.
I'm pretty sure that they do. Plenty of darkroom supplies. If not, try Sammy's
We do! Come on in! :)
