Worst county in the state that I have ever been!!!! Just absolutely ridiculous that a person can't leave their vehicle for less than a day to be able to get into town from the mountains so that you can acquire the parts that are needed to get your vehicle back on the road and in drivable condition again. I had an incident on Thursday early morning where I was not able to control. While out fora drive to find a place for myself to be able to just be away from the stresses of my situation of my personal life. I found myself with two tires that had gone flat and was not able to receive any kind of assistance until the following morning. I stayed with my vehicle this whole time as I waited for a friend to come and give me a ride to get tires. I returned that afternoon to find that my vehicle , without any kind of contact from anyone my car had been towed. Now I am in an even more difficult situation. Because they are now telling me that it isy responsibility to pay the toe fee of almost six hundred dollars, and as I am homeless and have not recently been working. I now have no vehicle to helpe in the search for work, nor do I have any of my belongings anymore either! I am more than unhappy with the way these people who are supposed to serve and protect their residents went about the handling of this situation!!

Very rude. Whoever answered my call needs to be retrained. Couldn't give me an ETA of when the officer would be at my property. I've got military duties to be at, yet they have no sense of urgency. Worst excuse for a sheriff's office.

The Yakima County Sheriff's Office have been so kind and have really gone the extra mile to help me. They responded immediately to a problem I was having when the Yakima Police Department would do nothing. I can't say enough about how helpful this office has been. They're good people and they really care about the community they serve. They showed me a light at the end of a very long dark tunnel I have been going through. Thank you so much.
