We loved this place! The atmosphere was wonderful, the fireplace was lit, and the wine was delicious! We loved our bartender as well, she was very accommodating and provided us with blankets to sit outside and even lit us our own fire. This place is very romantic, and had amazing views of the vineyard and of lake Chelan. We will be coming back for all these reasons, but especially for the pizza. We tried the Lemon Drop and the Pepperoni, as well as the Burrata from the downstairs Cafe and everything was AMAZING! The prices were fair, and we were able to get a free wine tasting with the purchase of a bottle. This place really stands out to me in an area that is well known for its beautiful wineries and scenic views. We can’t wait to come back!

Have been going to Benson for years, a great spot to go for views or music. Usually do a quick stop here with friends if they haven’t been to Chelan before. The wine is okay, you can find much better at surrounding wineries. Go for the views/atmosphere.

Came here as part of a bachelorette party and this was an amazing place to get food, drink wine and listen to live music! They have a lot of covered patio seating and some seating indoors (in ac). Great pizza and charcuterie board. Nice to have many food options at a winery. The location itself was STUNNING. The vineyards against the water and mountain range was gorgeous. They also had decent amount of parking and are family/kid friendly. Would definitely come back!

We make it here about once a year to taste & buy some bottles. Chelan is mostly a summer destination, but we have only visited the winery in the winter during Winterfest. Winter is still a very nice time to visit - the snow covered vineyards are very pretty. The tasting room is absolutely beautiful with great views. Lots of room to sit and enjoy your tastes or a glass. The deck looks out over the grounds. The grounds are beautiful and I would imagine fun to do a tour and explore in the summer. The wines are very good. Usually I love reds, but here I always end up taking home a bottle of the Curious - very good white. Stop by and enjoy a glass.... we will be back for sure next time we visit the area!

I thought I had joined the wine club twice now. Have I missed something or was I somehow supposed to know that there was a wine distribution in November?

We were there yesterday and they told us on Saturday. But we were there in April and they told us Friday nights. It may depend on the season or the week. Such a gorgeous location any day of the week 😍.

What is the shelf life of Curious? We still have a bottle from 2013.

Benson tends to run a 5 to 10 year cellar life. If the wine has not been in a controlled wine cellar setting, it could then be past prime. You should drink it, if it tastes vinegary then use it to cook mushrooms.tonput on top of a steak. Wine can be used for more than just drinking. Cooking is a good use for wines past prime. Goodluck, I hope it still good.
