This park is alright. Small green area for picnicking. I usually come here for the easy trail in the back that leads to Rancho Guajome Adobe. Not a full sports park. Only has baseball/softball, soccer and football fields. It's a bummer that there isn't at least one basketball hoop. Parking is ample. If you have kids they have 2 playgrounds for different age groups, 2-4 and 5-12.

The Vista Sports Park is a great spot for sporty families. While dad throws the ball around with your older kids, mom can enjoy watching the younger ones explore the playgrounds. The one thing I was really hoping this park had was a paved sidewalk around the perimeter for an easy stroller jog. However, we still got to run around the turf fields which is probably better for my knees anyway haha 💰This park is free 🎠2 playgrounds but no swings. The ground is a rubber surface and it is shaded with canopies 🚽Restrooms 🖼Small lawn 🌳Not a lot of trees 🧺Picnic tables under canopy shade 🛣Playground is far from busy roads 🚙Plenty of parking spaces in the lot 🏈Huge turf football fields ⚽️Huge turf soccer fields ⚾️ Baseball fields 🪑Bleachers at all fields

The sports park is an awesome place. Between the shaded playground and multiple sports fields the kids never run out of things to do.

Absolutely. The playground is shaded and right near the bathrooms. Also near by is about a dozen picnic tables which are also shaded.
I am pretty sure Vista Sports Park does not have any basketball hoops, unless recently added.
I'm sorry. I've never been there for the aftermath... I live in O'side. Yeah, that WOULD suck! Contact the City? Idk. That's where I"d start--- Parks & Recreation. Maybe take a trash bag and pick up what you can, if youre willing, during your walk until then,, bending and twisting along the way. I'm sure it would add to your workout and be appreciated.
