I was profiled by the owner of the campground because she thought I was under 18 (I’m 20). I showed her my military CAC/ID she took it and called it fake. I said that it’s real and other veterans were telling her it’s real. After her refusing to give it back The police had to come and tell her the same thing. She threatened to Evict us i I were to correct her again. I tell all my soldiers not to go there at all. Not veteran/military friendly!!!! Oh did I tell you she makes sarcastic comments to me and my family. I only go there because it’s closer to camp Garfield the my house!!!

Visited friends. Very nice. A few too many people. Needs a cleared smooth path to boat docks.

We went to look at a camper for my mother. We were directed to the camper and went the way we were shown. We never told to not go that way. There is a sign that apparently means no cars. BUT ITS THE SIZE OF A GIRL SCOUT COOKIE BOX AND ITS 6 FEET IN THE AIR. Needless to say, we never saw the sign. So. We went over the camper was nice, went to leave, find out the owner of the park came over and yelled at my sister about the way we came. They told her, we never saw a sign and the lady from the office pointed this way, so we thought we could come through here. Apparently they were rude and didn’t want to hear anything. So we go to leave. The woman from the office walks out and stands in the middle of the road and blocks the way out. I stopped, rolled down the window and she starts going off on me about how I told her boss to come this way and I must be stupid because there is a sign that states no cars come this way, also there was a f*** you and all kinds of words like that thrown at me. I tried to explain to her that her and the owners of the camper we were looking at were the only people we talked to, unless they talked to my sister. But I got her in trouble because I was stupid. Needless to say my mother will not buying the camper or ever stepping foot in the park again because that was completely uncalled for and completely unprofessional. Apparently they are also drunks who don’t really care about you unless it benefits them.

Are you a seasonal campground...and if so, what are the months that you are open? In general, are you open and taking reservations for Mid-October 2019?

You rent usually for the year but they have spots for rent camping but I believe that those are either finished oct 15th or 30th so it's mostly renting a spot for the year we have had our families place there for past 20yrs my grandparents had it before that but they moved a few times until they were able to get the spot they wanted and we had to wait until the people who had spot that we have now to not renew for whatever reason then we built a deck and put gravel stones in so we have a big spot for parking and somewhere to put trailer for pontoon while it's in water for season. P.S. you can also rent a dock for your boat by year as well also they allow you to put a shelter over your trailer so you have a real roof so you dont have to worry about your camper ever leaking so instead of having to get new camper every 10 years we have been able to keep them 15yrs and then upgrade and you list the people who are able to be there if they are not on the list I think its 2 or 3 bucksa person
