I have mixed feelings. We went through a lot trying to secure our dog. Lori was less responsive and timely as I would have liked. However, in the end, I did end up getting my, now 1 & ½ year old, black lab, alfred, from her. He is amazing, so I can't be completely negative.

I paid out $300 for a deposit, the website was being “revamped” & she said, she’d let me know when it was up & running again. That she never did, I had to look it up myself. Than, with the puppies that were supposed to be due end of July & she couldn’t even tell me none were born. I HAD TO MESSAGE & ASK HER. She gave conflicting stories telling my friend who emailed her that the female didn’t take on a Wednesday, then told me that she was taken to the vet that Friday after the email my friend sent & told me that the babies died. That this happens all the time & I don’t know pretty much about breeding. I will tell you I know this can happen, but my female took no problem & others who know breeders know all the information I was told. She acted like I was dumb about breeding dogs, not to mention she couldn’t even tell me that her female didn’t have the puppies. She definitely will, take your money & run. Not just by reviews I’ve seen, but people I know around the area have told me she constantly just gives excuses on why the puppies weren’t born. I have contacted the BBB, Animal Welfare & more on how she scams people out of deposits. All reputable breeders, will refund the money if puppies aren’t born. Yet she refuses to & says it’ll go to next litter, yet the next litter never comes. If I can give 0 stars, I would. Be careful & NEVER deposit money to her!!

She will take your money and run. Doesn’t fulfill promises on puppies and blames it on litters not taking. How is it that you use the same stud for 3/4 of you litters and see no results but yet still use home countless times. Careless breeder! I would give negative stars if I could

Beware about giving any deposit to this breeder based on what you see online. I paid $300 in JAN 2019 for a litter that could not even happen due to both parents carrying an eye disease gene. Lori happily took my money and then told me the dogs could not be bred because both were PRA carriers (both dogs belonged to her). Since May she has advertised 7 different planned breedings but the majority do not happen. She advertised two litters being born in May but there were no pups born. She refused to return my money even though the litter I was planning to buy from could not have happened because the parents could NEVER be bred together without health risks to the pups. She was also well aware that I needed a pup by summer. Her website would make you think she produces plenty of dogs when that has not been the case. And then she keeps your money even when she can't deliver.
