When it comes to praying for our leaders, 1 Timothy 2:1-4 (NIV) gives us direct instruction. Our leaders need God's help. All of them. It's important to remember that God is not surprised by flawed individuals in high places. Awaken's pastors teach the unadulterated Word of the Living God. They have a wide variety of speakers and it's wonderful. It's inspiring.

Amazing church to belong to. People are warm and sincere, the messages are always fresh with the right balance of funny and challenging all done with an attitude of excellence. God is #1 in this place. Men's prayer on Thursday mornings has made a huge difference in my life. It's comforting to know that there are a group of men that will stand and pray with you when you need it. Kids church is amazing as well.
