I tried to volunteer years ago then after interview and pretty much background check and calls not returned I gave up. I miss the shelter in Whistler where they would rather have the dogs walk instead of being so crazy about rules and policies.. Could not look at cats without filling an application but last time I went they were letting people so I guess it depends who you are unless they changed their rules. Thinking back at my rating I don't think it deserve 4 stars but I like a place who takes care of animals so I was very generous.

Just just adopt our third cat! Staff is welcoming and helpful and more than happy to set anyone qualified up with a new kitty. They are also an animal shelter who rescues animals in need of good homes.

Amazing facility, amazing staff & volunteers and amazing furry friends! Everything Pet Project does is for the greatest good of the animals and they are 100% donation based! They spend time training and acclimating their pets so they can be the best possible adoption option for you to take home. Oh, and they are No-Kill shelter who goes out to rescue other animals that would otherwise be killed! They are seriously the best. Once you walk through the door you will see what I mean and you won't be disappointed!

Maybe they fed it.
Call them directly or go in regarding the volunteer op.
It depends on where you are adopting from. Irvine animal shelter has senior discounts.
It’s not the length of hair it’s the dander. I know of one breed that is very low on the allergy scale. They are called rag dolls. My aunt is very allergic and she has 3 of these. No problems with them.
The shelter is only closed on Monday.
If it's a domesticated bird yes.
The shelter sometimes sponsors a low cost vaccine night, but not surgeries for spay/neuter.
Sure. We accept toy donations.
Until they are adopted.
Yes, be sure to call..
I would call them 1st, I donate used towels and blankets which they definitely can use.
If you would like to volunteer, you can apply in the office. Then, if you are selected, expect to be trained not only about how to handle dogs but also about specific shelter rules.
Can see puppies today
Do you have any toy yorkies?
