After searching online and at other nearby rug stores, I am so happy we ended up at Rug Expo. Service was friendly but not overbearing, and I felt that the entire staff was happy to take my direction, whether asking for suggestions or asking for some alone time to browse and think. Ended up with a fantastic rug and we got a great price. Rolled it up like a burrito and popped it in the car! Thank you, Rug Expo, 10/10 would recommend.

Yes, Rug Expo probably has the best selection of runners and runner rugs in San Diego and beyond. We have all runner sizes, and can custom size any type, including hallway runners, kitchen runner rugs, stair carpet runners, and outdoor runners. We also have a great selection online!

Yes, of course, thanks for asking! Rug Expo has one of the best selection of Persian rugs and Persian carpets in all of San Diego, including all shapes and sizes and runners. By the way, we're also experts at Persian rug repair and Persian rug cleaning too.
We have just under 2000 area rugs in stock in the 5x7 rug, 5x8 rug sizes. Rug Expo truly has the best selection of any size of rug in San Diego, maybe in all of California!
Rug Expo does area rug cleaning the old-fashioned way: 1) We pick up larger rugs, or you can drop off smaller orders at the store. 2) We inspect your rug for fiber type, weave, dyes. Then we dust most rugs with a vibrating or beating machine to remove most of the dry particles. 3) We do a full water immersion soak and get the water to run through your rug for a deep clean. 4) We'll use organic shampoo when possible, scrubbing the rugs by hand or a scrubbing machine, depending on the type of rug, and clean the fringe, if any. Often we will wash the back of your rug. 5) Then we clear rinse the rugs till the water comes out perfectly clean. 6) We'll add an enzyme bath to eliminate rug pet stains and odors. 7) Then, we'll dry the rug using a centrifugal spinner or a surface vacuum to get most of the water out very quickly. Your rug will then dry in our drying room, 8) Then it's groomed and rolled for delivery or pick up. Our process takes about a week and a half.

Yes, we do in store rug appraisals, including antique rug appraisals, Persian rug appraisals. Our owner, Bijan Farrokhi has over 30 years of experience and he will issue a written certificate of Appraisal from Rug Expo, San Diego's largest rug store. We can also do a reduced price virutal rug value estimate of your rug, if you send in a number of quality pictures and measurement of your rugs.
Yes, Rug Expo does all kinds of rug repairs, including repair or replacement of rug fringe, rug tassels. We can also mend and reweave holes in rugs from dry rot, or moths.
