They try hard to serve the community with food, clothing, case management, etc. I believe their heart is right. They just need to get better control of that food line and start enforcing their own guidelines when standing in that food line.

Don't know what I would have done without this place. My caseworker Chad is the best in the business. I don't even know what to say he has changed my life and for the better I would be living on the streets if it weren't for him. I can honestly say that I love the guy. And everyone else that either works there or volunteers there are fantastic and caring people that spend their days helping change the lives of others in need. God bless you all. Thank you from the bottom of my heart !!!!!! Michael Cartwright

CRC accepts donations and provides case workers that can get you back on track- they issue supplemental food vouchers - help you get into housing if you are living on the streets, and help you find work. They are staffed by volunteers but have professional staff well versed in navigating the local network of support services- they provide monthly no questions asked food and more often if you are on SSI- If you are trying to figure out the best place to donate money of food, this is an excellent choice as they have done the work for you, and they support thousands of people in North County, and know where to turn even with the most difficult cases. Also they provide tax preparation assistance and help getting public transportation assistance

This organization makes things happen unlike the many other organizations that are referral services. This group cares about your life and provides hands on services to change your life for the better. The Staff always has a smile and provides acceptance. I always leave with a new direction and the best gift of all hope.

Hello. I’m a member of Saint John school in Encinitas. In our F.I.A. Class, we are doing a project to help and give back to our community. We would like to make blessing bags for the homeless. Is that ok and if so, I can give you my teachers Info.

They have a broad range of programs to help almost anyone. Go to their resource center and ask about what they have to offer. Very friendly staff. You can even get emergency food, that includes fresh produce and eggs. Best of luck
