The Red Oak Pub is a local favorite in Newark,Oh. I've eaten there twice and will go back every time I'm in Newark. While they have a full bar and about 20 beers on tap the food is the star! With a wide variety of burgers and sandwiches there's something delicious for everyone. They have some of the best fries and onion rings that I've ever tasted. The servers are attentive, fast and friendly. The food is well prepared and quickly delivered. There is plenty of seating available for everyone and We've never had to wait for a table. There is a kids menu as well. If you are in the Newark area ots a great option. It makes for a nice Saturday or Sunday lunch or dinner drive from the Columbus area.

It was our first time visiting Red Oak Pub. The wait was not as long as we were told, which was great. Our appetizer of spinach artichoke dip came to the table very quickly, and was delicious. Our salads were excellent and the serving size was very generous. Our waiter was very attentive. I would definitely go there again.

Wow probably the freshest food I’ve had in this town and quite possibly the best service. Daniel absolutely killed it! He’s by far the best server I’ve ever had, quick and friendly with a smile.

Went there to watch the browns game, and had tremendous service. We sat at the bar (I forgot the gentleman's name who was our bartender) for the entire game. He was ON TOP of our drinks and food for the entire game. Food came out extremely fast and was delicious. I recommend the buffalo chicken dip. Find a different restaurant/bar where the Manager washes dishes for their bartender... I'll wait. Great place, I'll be back!
