So many memories here. A lovely space that is both quiet and filled with voiceless screaming at the same time. I wish people wouldn't vandalize the headstones. Everyone deserves to be remembered.

The pioneer cemetery contains a large amount of graves from the early 1800s-1900s. If you’re looking for the founders of Eugene, you’ll have to go to the Eugene Masonic Cemetery off of 24th. This is more of an ambling, historic stroll through a small park. It’s maintained by the University, although they’ve tried to bulldoze it time and time again for more dormitories. It’s also a nice short cut to take by bike if you want a brief, curvy ride. Love this place, I run through here once a week easy.

I really enjoy being buried here. Granted, it's just a rental, but the neighborhood is quiet, and no one really bothers me when I go out on my nightly brain runs.
