Stayed in "The Narrows" section of Mohican Wilderness for a group camp. This area was right on the river for tubing. Access to porta potties/pit potties was easy and potable water was available near the sites. Shower house was centrally located. Definitely bring bikes to get around the campground and up to the activities near the camp office. Kids had a blast in the pond, playing putt putt and a bit of archery. No cell service was a pleasant surprise, making it all that much easier to disconnect and enjoy the surroundings.

We stayed at Mohican Wilderness as a long weekend. The sites are large and easy to find. There is primitive toilets near the 633 site where we stayed and nice scenic views of the surrounding hills. The bath house isn't far and can accommodate many campers. This campground is very large. We found more primitive sites that would suit our camping style for next time. There is lots to do to keep busy while on the property. There is putt putt, a playground, a volleyball court, a nice sandy bottom swimming pond with a floating dock, and of course the river. We purchased 2x double tubes from the camp store because we really wanted to float on our time and not the scheduled time slots. It allowed us to drop in to the river at one end of the property and exit at the far opposite end. It took about an hour to float. We did have to walk back to our camp site but it was worth it. The views from the river are very nice. I would bring your bike as an easy way to traverse the property and sight see while there.

Very disappointed in the restrooms. We’ve been to many campgrounds over the years, and by far this is the worst we’ve ever seen. The owner was offended that we were disgusted, and was rude when told her how gross they were. These pictures are right after they were cleaned. Apparently they’re having a mold issue. The pictures on the website are not what the restrooms look like. The actual campground and other amities are very nice. Campsites are nice size. The river sites are not a typical river site, but still nice.

It depends on what type of site you are looking at, call them
That was a good question. We got a site along the river and saw no snakes. We love that campground and I'm happy to see everyone's answers
We've always gone with our cc team & rented canoes. There are specific launch areas. I'm sure you can bring your own kayaks, but if you don't have a campsite along the river you probably have to launch from the designated areas. I don't remember the various lengths of each launch, but we usually take the one that's about an hour. Have you called them to ask your question?
