My husband and I hired a sitter for a fancy date night out at Lanning's. After driving by it hundreds of times, we decided we had to try it. (We did not come prepared with cash for the valet and parked ourselves in a nearby lot - bring cash if you want to use the valet service!) We had the pork belly, which was unbelievable, as the appetizer, steaks were velvety perfect, potatoes were fluffy and soft - but the star of the show was definitely the butter cake. Do not skip the butter cake! It was pricy for one meal but worth it as an occasional special treat. We'll definitely be back!

Went for a friend's birthday. Party of 8. Had a great time. The food was wonderful. First time I've been since they no longer have to top your own salad. They made it exactly like I usually do. No problems. Steaks were wonderful. Bisque was steller. Thanks for a great time.

The restaurant is beautiful and very romantic. We had an amazing and very special anniversary dinner thanks to the staff and chef. Our server Elliott and server’s assistant Cam were fantastic. The drinks were so delicious and the food was spectacular! And absolute must try for a romantic evening.

40 years ago, Sheri and I celebrated our engagement and found Lanning's outstanding. We went back a good number of times thereafter. We moved away :(. February 18, we celebrated our past good times, meals, and this month's birthdays as though we never left. Great experience, great staff ( Hey Jerry), and hope to visit in the summer of 2022.
