For years I've heard from Akron natives about how good Swenson's is. So after moving to the area I had to check out what all the hype was about. I'm sorry Akron, but I don't get it. The Galley boy or however you spell it was just ok, definitely nothing to rave about. The fries were just ok too. However, the Jalepeno cheesy bite things were really good. To be honest, I really don't see myself going back. I would rather get a burger from five guys if I'm being honest. Again, sorry Akron, it's just not my thing.

The employees run to your car, which is kind of a gimmick but works pretty well with people turning their lights on when they need something. This worked great when ordering online. The "half pound plus" burger was definitely plus, which was great. The shake was good and all my kids found something they like.

Been coming here for years, never had bad food or service. The burgers are to die for and their kids meals are perfect. They have amazing egg salad sandwiches for vegetarians too. Their milkshakes are sooo good, and their seasonal flavors are always amazing. All of their staff are super polite and happy to help, especially Clay. I've been served a couple of times by him I've never seen him without a smile even in gross snowy weather. Definitely stop by at least once to cross it off your bucket list.

Live in Chicago. Miss Swenson’s, grew up eating there. Daughter just stopped at the Falls location. She’s driving back from Philadelphia. I have a Galley Boy, a Hamburger and some fried mushrooms headed my way. I will savor them and look forward to more in the future. It would be nice if the food truck could find its way here.
