An old Akron favorite. Craving coney dogs we stopped at Swensons. The menu doesn't specify type of meat. I was hoping for a beef dog, but got chicken, turkey, or pork. Not sure what we got, but we weren't happy (it was mushy). The young man taking our order didn't know either. I was truly disappointed in the quality. Suggestions: Use a container other than paper-foil. Coney dogs can be messy. Adding a fork is also helpful. If the hot dog was beef and presented in a substantial container they would get a 3 star. Beef is the new standard. To their credit, they do offer relish. Although we requested salt and ketchup, we had to remind him. It's worth stopping in, just don't order a coney dog unless you want, chicken, turkey, or pork.

The in and out of Ohio as I like to call it. Love me a burger and shake, especially from here. If you don’t like young crazy teens, avoid going at night. But other then that can’t beat the prices our the quality. Nothing but amazing experiences. 5 stars!

I do not recommend this Swensons! I ordered 3 milk shakes and it took them 20 minutes to bring them out to me. So ridiculous 😬🙄😳 And what is that even on my kid??? 🤨🧐 I didn’t order food, so why is there a piece of food on my lid??? 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔

Wonderful service as always. Very fast and delicious food! This location has a very large and easy to navigate parking lot - unlike some of the other locations. No gluten free options, and not a lot of options that my husband could eat assuming that they weren't cross contaminated - probably just coleslaw. I love this place though so I'll be back!

This is a Drive-in that has carhops. If you want to wear a mask when they come to your car you can. Otherwise no mask required. If you use a card to pay you may want to use sanitizer afterwards as you have to handle the payment processor.
No this is a drive in restaurant so you have to eat in your car but they do have food trays that attach to your window that act some what of a plate :) The experience may sound scary but it's worth it :) great food!
