This is the first negative review I have ever given, but my experience was so horrible I feel others should be warned and the hospital should do some about it. The medical clinic reception staff is rude, unhelpful, and condescending. When my dad moved to Stayton I called to see if they were accepting new patients and they weren’t, but then they were the only office in the area that takes VA patients. After waiting 6 months for an appointment, and having to visit ER’s and Urgent care to get care, we were turned away for being 5 minutes late (the VA policy is 15 minutes late). My dad is 82, has mobility and bathroom issues, it was my first time to the office, I took the day off work, and drove 3 hours to get there. Luckily, doctor Robinson was awesome, or we wouldn’t have been back. Then there were problems with the prescriptions and the office staff refused to talk with my aunt before they even checked to see that she is authorized. They were snappy and blamed her for their mistake. On my last visit, my dad needed to use the bathroom, and he went straight to the bathroom when we arrived at the office, but they refused to check him in without him being in the office. The nursing staff is also very nice and helpful, but the office staff and waiting room atmosphere puts a serious damper on the visit.

I was highly impressed with my entire experience. From checking in to being released from the ER, every interaction with admissions, triage RN, Xray tech, ER RN, and physician, I was treated as a whole person and compassionately listened to and everything explained 100%! Dr. Maskell is absolutely AMAZING!! She made me feel like I was her only patient, took her time, was so personable, and treated me with dignity, kindness, and got me laughing! Thank you ALL for working so hard and living up to your calling of healers!! I recommend this hospital, 100%!!

22 years ago, when I had a car accident，I took care of their treatment. all doctor and nurse were very kind and have great hospitality. They still stay in this hospital？ I am a Japanese man who were 20yrs old at that time. I was 14 stitched on the finger. someone still remember me？ I thank you your treatment very much. your treatment is one of the precious memory in my life.
