Great breakfast before sailing in San Diego. Have a range of foods to choose from. Chicken fried steak is amazing. The blueberry pancakes are really tasted. I went to point break cafe once a day for a week, while staying in San Diego.

We were in town for 5 days for a wedding and stopped into Point Break Cafe for breakfast. We were happy with the nautical decor and it's laid-back atmosphere. We were told to seat ourselves and waited upon by a friendly waitress. I had the veggie omelette and my boyfriend had chicken fried steak and eggs. Both were delicious and we ate every bite, down to the last morsel of toast and hash browns. We ended up returning for breakfast every day of our stay. It's the kind of place that is fun, lively, and tasty! Plus, conveniently located right next to Shelter Island where we enjoyed beautiful walks after our delicious breakfasts. A dive bar in all the best ways. Hearty breakfast fair and good cocktails. Jukebox plays old school and chill music. A gem tucked away for good drinks and conversation.

What a great experience here . We felt so welcomed and just the overall vibe felt really good even seeing the manager how she got along with the workers made me like this place even more . And the fact that food was good made it even better 😋 I had the steak and eggs for breakfast and nachos for a late night snack and I definitely recommend both .
