Clean facility, onsite operator, plenty of parking, snack/soda machine reasonable, takes credit and debit cards on machines(comparable rates- large industrial size washers onsite around $25.00). Near great car wash(pricey) and some good eateries as well.

I have been using this laundromat for about 20 years. It has always been kept clean and the machines-- washers, dryers, change machines, detergent vending machines-- always worked perfectly. The location is right in the "new" Hyattsville so you have a couple of (mostly food) places to check out within three blocks. Folks who like trains can walk a block or so and watch them roll by, about 50 a day. Some will be blowing a horn but not all! Be extremely careful, stay well away from tracks, and do not trespass! I adore the 80-pound washers, they can do an entire family's load in one go! The washers are efficient and fast (the front loaders), the water is HOT and dryers are also very hot! Carts are plentiful but you may be sharing when the place gets crowded. There are the typical laundromat vending machines for soap & similar items, snacks, sodas, plenty of quarter change machines which take all bills to and including $20, and I think I saw an ATM on the back wall. Yesterday, I had about one hundred pounds of laundry. I split it between two 80 lb washers, then 4 giant dryers, and was done in an hour and 10 minutes at a cost of about $35. There are at least five other laundromats within about 2 miles of Sudsville, and easily twice that many within 3 miles. I literally drive past two other laundromats to use this one. That says it all.
