I have both ordered rolls for takeout and had some rolls for dine in dinner in the past and decided to stop in for a solo lunch. Not a large place but busy, especially with to-go orders. The bento box( pictured) came with plenty of food. Loved the tempura on the vegetables and prawns as it was not too much and unlike other location i did not need to peel half of it off. The vegetable dumplings were standard. Do note that they usually come fried but I requested to have them steamed. The icing on the cake was the bonus chicken and onion teriyaki skewer. For both visits I would say my reason for 3( would be 3.5 if I could) is that they put too much mayonaise in the rolls. The California roll as you can see had some as well, which from my past experiences isnt standard.

The service was extremely slow. They were too busy filling takeout orders to tend to the tables in the establishment. I waited over half an hour for my ramen, the table next to me waited over a full hour. Not once did anyone stop by my table to ask how the food was, refill my drink, or apologize for the long delay. When I did receive my ramen, it contained large chunks of overcooked, bland pork instead of the typical thinly shaved pork belly. One piece was particularly off-putting and full of tough connective tissue.

By far the best location for sushi in Silver Spring! The staff was incredible and the food was sensational. The selection of rolls is extensive and freshly prepared. The Gyoza had the perfect crispy golden texture and was paired with a semi sweet sauce. Highly recommend!

I am very disappointed in their bulgogi don. Way too much sauce and oil. The meat is soaked, the rice is soaked. See my first picture after I dig a hole in the rice, there is a puddle of oil inside. I couldn't taste anything else other than strong sauce. I asked for a cup of hot water intended to water down the miso soup base for the ramen noodle for my daughter. Ended up using this cup to wash off sauce on each piece of meat. The ramen is also salty, but I guess that is expected for ramen and I usually water the soup base down to match my preference. But this time the waiter was too busy to swing by often.Plus we are in a hurry. So I didn't brother to ask for another cup of hot water. We did wait for quiet a while to get our food. They are very very busy with take out orders. Although their grilled pork in ramen soup is tasty with very good texture. One of the best grilled pork in ramen I had in DC area. (That is why I gave a 3 instead of 2) But the half egg in ramen is hard boiled, which to me isn't very authentic. We also ordered the shiitake mushroom roll. It is ok. Mushroom is marinated so couldn't really taste any mushrooms flavor. When we got home, both my husband and I felt unsettled in our stomach. We also drank tons of water but still felt thirsty. I think this place could be good if you only order ramen and sushi. But I don't think I can convince my husband to come here again.

No indoor dining. Call ahead and order or when you arrive. Another option is delivery via DoorDash, Grubhub, Ubereats or any food delivery services. No more than two people are allowed inside at one time.
Sushi is a couple bucka less than average. They have some nice rolls for $8-10
Its going to be hard to get a meal for 2 people within 20 dollars. For a snack maybe you could pull it off by ordering a roll or some appetizers.
Yes. My Spanish is very bad, but I will try to help you
