Very clean spacious room, large clean bathroom with large walk-in shower. Good AC. Refrigerator and decent size freezer. Nice breakfast -clean service area. Outside seating. Walking distance to dining. Staff was friendly and approachable. Allowed us to check in slightly early. Quiet with the exception of an idiot who left their dog in the room alone to bark (you can’t fix stupid) - not staffs fault. Well done, will stay again.

We pulled in to attempt checking in early,as we had drove 3 hours to stay there. The gal said not until 3pm as they are still busy cleaning which is fine,but then pulling out we saw all employees outside by the pool smoking cigarettes. Came back at 3pm everyone still outside smoking. Got checked in,went into room sunflower seeds and red bull cans on the floor. Something had spilled on bathroom floor which clearly wasn't cleaned.it was pet friendly which is great,very clean breakfast room,pool and hot tub were great. Would just like to come to a properly clean room.

Positive: It was updated. And great staff. Also good breakfast. Negative: It was not cleaned well at all. Stuff in the sink, hair and food In the fold out sofa, sticky door handles, food chunks on the shower curtain, and the mirror was gross.

Never forget the joy of hot indoor running water!! Phew what a pleasure, clean room and totally Dog friendly! The gentleman checking me in was friendly and more then helpful. He even let me in on all the awesome pet he has too. Thanks to the wonderful kitchen staff for a great attitude, tasty breakfast and warm conversation. Shout out to you Johnny!!! Oh and honestly a sweet town. Meet a couple on the way out and the light in their eyes was great to see. If you're in john day stay there, it's low key top. Even better.
