Went here due to the high ratings. Very disappointed. It took a long time to get water, We placed our order then waited 32 minutes for the chowder to arrive. We expected some really good chowder, did not get that. The chowder had flour lumps in it and may not have had any clams at all, if clams were there, they had to be cut into tiny pieces. The combo plate came out at about the same time as the chowder. We shared the plated, thinking it would be enough to two 80 year olds. Wow, we were wrong. One shrimp, one scallop and two very small pieces of fish. The bright spot were the fries. They were very good. Service was very poor. We will never try it again. This place is NOT handicap accessible.

This is our go-to food spot during our golf trip to Bandon. We we’re looking for seafood that is not fried and they have that. We went here a couple of times, lunch and dinner - obviously it is that gooood!

Enjoyable dinner! We made a reservation this afternoon and were seated on arrival. The restaurant was busy on a Tuesday evening. Fresh-baked cranberry bread was good. I had the chowder and my friend had a salad. We then shared the clams in garlic wine sauce which were lovely. I had the Wheelhouse Platter and my friend had the Salmon with Dungeness Crab. Both were very good.

I wanted to rate this place higher, but honestly it was difficult. There are always a line of people waiting for their seats, its always an hour wait time given, but much shorter since people inevitably give up, I only had to wait 20 minutes because a dozen tables ahead of me gave up and left. The wait time for everything was incredible, they always seem shortstaffed so its hard to fault the staff, but the wait for everything from bread to ordering to the time between courses is just hard to ignore. Plus most restaurants in the area close relatively early so there's not much options available. The food is good though.

They do have a small staff, so I am sure it wasn't intentionally ignored. They have great food and worth the wait
They take their covid safety extremely serious! They all wear masks! They sanitize everything often! They insure your dining experience is 100% safe!
I dont think so.
No they like all or most coastal restaurants take a winter break.....they will be opening in mid-Jan, I beleive ...
