This was the last place I went on a date with my now ex-husband, and while the food might not save your marriage - it'll definitely distract you from the pain (maybe what was the wine?). Speaking of wine, do not let the extensive list deter you - the Staff is intensely knowledgeable, without any pretentiousness and they'll help you find something to pair perfectly - whether you're dining vegetarian or going full meat in the mouth. Whatever your dietary needs (I apologize to the gluten free crowd), do not skip over the bread. I'm not exactly sure what heaven would taste like, but it's probably oil drenched and fluffy. One of my favorite parts about the menu is the ability to share with a friend; along with the portion options being half and full... it's a good thing the tables are big enough for multiple plates.

Great no frills Italian. Personally I’d order half portions and try all the pastas possible. I’d highly recommend the stuffed trout but there was not a bad dish from everything we ordered.

Luce was a unique experience. They have small plates reasonably priced that are wonderful tasting. Last night we experienced the fennel and dill salad, small bites of parmesan farro pie(yum) marinated beats, carrots, and mushrooms. They also served homemade for focacia bread. For dinner we had shrimp with linguini. Although it was very tasty, it was my not my favorite part of the meal. I'm not typically a dessert person but their pana cotta with pine syrup was amazing.

Went here super last minute because the original restaurant we had planned on going to for dinner had closed early. So glad we ended up here! Truly one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in Portland if not ever. The restaurant is small but has so much charm and a very intimate feel. We sat inside but outdoor dining is available. The servers and staff were so welcoming and helpful. Our server assisted us in choosing the best wine to compliment our meal. I ordered the fettuccine with prosciutto and a poppy seed cream sauce which was heavenly, the pasta was so fresh and flavorful. I also enjoyed how they offered half portion orders. A half order of salad and half order of pasta was the perfect amount of food for one person, and it was very appropriately priced! I would change absolutely nothing about my experience at Luce. I will definitely come back every time I’m in Portland! Please add this stunning place to your list of places to check out!!!

We call in orders and pick them up. There is a table set across the front door, so patrons aren't allowed inside. All transactions happen across the table. All employees wear masks. There is also outdoor seating. We've always appreciated the measures taken by Luce and have felt good about supporting them during this time.
No heaters yet, but they said they would get some. Not sure when.
Nope
I don't believe they do, but plenty of other very tasty gluten free options. We have been here with gluten free friends all have been very happy with their meals
Yes, though they are not prepared in a gluten-free environment.
