Not bad, love the entrance and the interior, only complaint is there really isn't enough choices for food, could use maybe a couple more items, but the chicken sandwich was great.

We have gone to Baxter's numerous times cuz food and ambience have been great. We had reservations for Easter eve at 7 pm. Half of what we ordered was sold out but we did have an enjoyable meal anyway. Service was slow but we finished by 815. We waited till 845 to get the waitress to order dessert but she said kitchen was closed at 830 so we couldn't get dessert. Published hours said open till 11 Desserts are refrigerated so take no prep time so I feel we should have been able to get this or informed ahead of time. This was an expensive evening for such service. We paid and left. It was pouring rain so we got car and returned at gate to wait for one of our party who had bad feet only to get yelled at rudely by security guard. Needles to say this was not a relaxing evening for a very expensive meal. We will not be returning

Kitchen manager & sous chef really know what they’re doing! Food is great, drinks are great. We used to come when the kitchen was under different management and we weren’t impressed with the food at all. For example we ordered a Ruben and it came on two end pieces of bread..why??!!! The gravy for the poutine is A LOT better now as well. I will definitely start becoming a regular again!! You’re doing something right & I’m glad you have people in your kitchen that care about what they’re putting out!! Cheers! 🍻

Beautiful building and a snapshot in time restored. You can see the canal offchute on the way in. The staff where great and the food was good. Beer selection was good. Great atmosphere!
