I had a bad experience calling a different company for the first time as a new homeowner that had a lot of questions, having never dealt with purchasing heating oil before or had to take care of a furnace. Stuck with them for a few years, not knowing any better. Called G&G after a family friend recommended them and was blown away by how patient and friendly they were. G & G is the best oil delivery business in central Maine, and we've used many of them. For 20 years we have been purchasing fuel from a variety of big and small sellers. At one point a few years ago we got very frustrated with the "big guys" here in Hallowell and their inability to have any flexibility with delivery schedules after we noticed that we were running low during a cold snap(totally our fault). We randomly called G & G, as we had previously seen their truck in the area. They didn't know us at all, yet they went out of their way to get fuel to us on a Saturday with no extra fee, and without snow established relationship. We have been customers ever since, and we'll never buy fuel elsewhere. The driver and office staff couldn't be more kind, efficient and helpful, and it is clear that they value and care about their customers. Also, we are always proud to be able to support the most local of businesses. Honestly, we've talked about writing them a good review online for quite some time. Now I'm finally doing it.
